YoYotta create macOS and cloud workflow software for the production and post industries.
We are based in Greenwich, London and our software is also called YoYotta.

YoYotta software runs on Apple macOS 15 Sequoia, 14 Sonoma, 13 Ventura, 12 Monterey, 11 Big Sur and 10.15 Catalina.
Both Intel and Apple silicon Macs are supported.

YoYotta

YoYotta manages data workflows, with features to handle the large amounts of data produced by media and entertainment companies.

On a typical production YoYotta is used on location to create multiple verified copies.
YoYotta understands camera clips so it extracts metadata and create thumbnails that are stored in searchable indexes and written to comprehensive reports.
In post YoYotta is used to ingest the production media onto local or shared storage.
As production progresses the camera clips are archived to LTO tape using the YoYotta LTO drive and Library options.
During post YoYotta will move and restore clips and files as needed.
The YoYotta Conform option allows batch restore and trim of clips to match offline edit timelines for grading, online and VFX.

LTO drive options

Create cross platform LTFS archives using LTO-9, LTO-8, LTO-7, LTO-6 or LTO-5 tapes.
Add support for up to eight LTO tape drives, these can be a mix of standalone and library drives.
Restore TAR tape archives.

Do you have lots of LTO tapes? Do you need to create large archives and restore media efficiently? Put the tapes into an LTO tape Library and let YoYotta take control.

There is a new Multi Library option that supports up to four tape libraries connected to a single Mac.

Multi LTO Library option

There is a new option that supports up to four tape libraries connected to a single Mac.
Here there are two dual drive LTO-5 libraries, a dual drive LTO-8 library and two standalone tape drives.
Great for migrating tapes. The Multi option also supports up to 500 tape slots per library for those large restore jobs.

Another use case is connecting multiple 1U single tape drive libraries ing them as different destinations for one or more jobs. Allowing main and safety copies to be created in parallel.

Conform

This YoYotta option allows use of edit timelines (Avid AAF, ALE, CSV, EDL or FCPXML) to selectively restore clips from your archive.
Trim raw footage to cut down clip length without loss of quality.
A great way to prepare material for online, VFX and grading.

Transcode

YoYotta includes high quality transcoding. Create DPX, ProRes, H.264, H.265 or MXF+AAF copies of footage.
With CDL, 3D CUBE LUT processing and image resizing. Prepare your material for offline editing.

YoYotta Server

Sync project metadata from multiple YoYotta systems. Web view of projects and media.

YoYotta Server also manages S3 object storage access keys. This enables connected YoYotta Mac clients to upload and download files to cloud storage.
